A week from today, this part of the DB crew will be back up in New York City for a Thanksgiving Week visit because the trip I made up there with The Boss and our kids for a couple of nights starting on Black Friday was pretty amazing and we wanted to do it again this year. After doing lots of touristy stuff last year, were going to be focusing on a very important thing. Eating. And we proved last year that a family of four doesnt have to spend a ton of money to eat well in NYC. We actually only spent over $40 on a meal for all four of us one time and it wasnt even super special.  This time weve got a quick excursion to Brooklyn for bagels and pizza planned as well as a visit to a bagel factory lined up plus The Boss wanted to go see Dr. Oz so were going to one of his shows. There may be a New York Philharmonic concert involved plus the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade (especially the night before when they are getting ready!). Well make another trip down to Ground Zero to pay our respects to all of those that lost their lives on that fateful day and since The Boss is a banker, well be wandering Wall St. again. One thing that you can be sure of is that well be eating, eating, and eating a whole lot more and pretty much every stop will be a locally owned restaurant. So youll want to check out this page every evening to see what weve been up to each day and yes there may very well be some live videos taken during the trip (that means if you dont want to see something from NYC then you can scroll right past those posts). And yes of course well be posting about things to do here are home and spotlighting local businesses in Brevard as if we werent at the other end of the east coast. :)
