Regarding the whole Downtown Produce closing “thing”…. Assuming it’s true that they are closing at the end of the month, I would suggest stopping by as often as you can between now and then since that’s only 2 1/2 weeks from now. Personally I am curious why they’re not having some kind of a dump inventory thing going on since if it were me that had a business like that closing, I would want all of that stuff gone so I wasn’t stuck with it. They’re continuing to post on their Facebook page like everything is normal, so we’ll just have to see how this plays out.
Coming up tomorrow and Saturday at Florida Cork & Bottle on A1A in Indian Harbour Beach.

We posted about the return of the
Cocoa Beach Air Show in July a couple days ago and no, don’t expect either the
Air Force Thunderbirds or
U.S. Navy Blue Angels to be coming to town that weekend since they will be in other parts of the country that weekend. The
F-22 Raptor Demo Team seems to be the headliner and from the logo the show has put out it looks like the
F-16 Viper Demo Team could be showing up, along with one of the F-18 demo teams. It’ll still be something you want to find a way to watch. Click on the image below for more information.
I know it’s likely a FDOT project, but why would those in charge of decisions like this not utilize that huge median along 192 through Melbourne and West Melbourne to make a larger bike lane AND make the road six lanes since they’ve gone ahead and tripped up the entire road anyway? Does that make too much sense?
Yes a fresh out of the oven pie from
Time Square Pizza on Wickham Road in Suntree would be a perfect option for dinner tonight!
The Copper Dog is a full service groomer that’s located in the same shopping center on US1 in Melbourne as
