Here’s today’s list of events in Brevard County and where you can listen to live music and it’s brought to you by Doug Herrell Plumbing, Brevard’s #1 Choice for Polybutylene Piping Replacement. Click on the image below to see the list.
Yep, another Florida based chain is opening in Viera with Piesanos opening in the new Publix shopping center at the south end of Stadium Pkwy.
Blue Origin‘s
#NewGlenn test flight has been pushed back to Friday morning with the launch window still opening at 1 a.m.
Regardless of when they finally give it a go, if you’re thinking about going to Jetty Park at
Port Canaveral or to watch it from any beach access north of PSFB (okay, maybe north of Lori Wilson Park), you’d better plan on getting there REALLY early to get a spot to park.
And don’t poo poo on them for the delays. This is a completely new and untested platform. It’s also a very large spacecraft that if something were to go seriously wrong, would damage the infrastructure at the pad and cuase them not to be able to try again for years.
IMO,
#SpaceX has been smart by testing their
#Starship rockets in Texas, well away from the pads here on the
#spacecoast. That way they can figure out how to do things no one else can do without worrying about damaging anything in Brevard County during the testing phase.
Regardless,
#jeffbezos and Co. will get that giant rocket off the ground when they are ready and some heavy lift competition is going to be great for space exploration. Click on the image below to read more.
It’s a little chilly out there, but not as bad as some claimed it would be.
The forecast for the day is coming up next.
The chilly stuff has arrived as we may possibly reach 60 degrees later this afternoon. It’s supposed to get a little bit colder tomorrow morning (right now it’s in the mid to lower 40’s throughout Brevard County) with those morning lows maybe hitting the upper 30’s (with a chance of being a couple degrees colder in North Brevard). Be ready for some extedned below normal temps though since as of now we’re not expecting to see above 70 degrees for close to two weeks. There will also be a very low chance for rain during that period and that’s not unexpected since this is the dry season.
