Keep up to date with the businesses and events that we spotlight each day on our social media streams in one spot and without having to be on those social media streams!  This is your Daily Update.

Start your Sunday off with some blueberry pancakes at Sunrise Diner on 520 in Cocoa Beach!

Apocalypse Coffee Roasters on US1 in Melbourne has some deals going on (20% off bags of coffee and 10% off Apocalypse Merchandise) until Monday.

Here’s today’s list of events in Brevard County and where you can listen to live music in Brevard County and it’s brought to you by Doug Herrell Plumbing, the only call you need to make when your home needs re-piping.

Events in Brevard County

Needing a new e-bike thie Christmas?  Stop by Some Guys E-Bikes on Wickham Road in West Melbourne where they back up their sales with two years of sales and service.

Needing a new roof to start off the new year?  Give Direct Metal Roofing a call for a quote.

Looking for something to do with your kiddos before school starts back up tomorrow? How about visiting The Dinosaur Store & Museum on 520 in Cocoa Beach! It doesn’t cost a penny to walk around the store that is filled with actual prehistoric fossils, but it’s 100% worth paying to go up into the two levels of the museum itself. We’ll be posting a video from the museum sometime in the first couple weeks of this month, but trust me, it’s worth a visit.

Here’s our daily post for local businesses to share some info about themselves! Typically we do this once per month on the first day of the month, but we’re doing it every morning until Christmas Eve! (click on the image to go to the post on Facebook)

I just saw that parts of the country around the Great Lakes are dealing with almost four feet of snow this morning. There are many parts of the country that will have snow on the ground until spring and the constant threat of losing electricity (and cranking up generators if they have them) during sometimes weekly winter storms is something millions of people well north of us have to deal with. Then of course there are the hundreds of thousands of auto accidents caused from driving on icy roads.
I’m thinking that I don’t mind dealing with hurricane season and a few months of hot weather each year right here in Central Florida where the only problem we have regarding ice, is running out of it when the mood for a few margaritas hits.
Not only does Wassis Meats on Wickham Road in Melbourne have the full line of Big Green Egg grills/smokers in stock and at the lowest prices around, they also carry the full line of BGE accessories AND plenty of options for storing your new BGE!
Now’s the time to get Quality Comfort Air Conditioning And Heating Inc. out for a maintenance visit or even to replace that old A/C with a new energy efficient one!
If you simply don’t have the time to clean your home or business before the upcoming holiday parties, give A Swift Solution Cleaning Inc. a call.
Check out these deals at The Hub, Center For Health and Beauty which has locations in Indialantic and Melbourne!
Some great info from Kwik Key Locksmith of Brevard!
Canaveral Kings Sport Fishing Charters will always find the fish when you book a charter with them!
It’s a little chilly outside (not horribly cold though), and a bowl of soup at the Buddhist Thai Temple at the west end of Aurora Road in Melbourne sure would warm up your belly. There’s olenty of other options as well and you’ve got until noon to get there.

Yes it is that time of the year where we’ll remind you about how fun it can be to head over to #waltdisneyworld to explore some of the resorts to see the Christmas decorations and no you’re not having to buy any kind of ticket. The Boss and our son did this last weekend (although Animal Kingdom Lodge didn’t have theirs up yet) and our daughter will be doing the same thing with her boyfriend two weeks from now while we’re all over there for the weekend.

You don’t have to follow along exactly with what you’ll read, it’s simply a good starting point for your own adventures.  https://destinationbrevard.com/walt-disney-world-holiday-resort-tour

Coming up a week from today at Intracoastal Brewing Company in Melbourne and yes it’s on the list of events for that day on our website.
Why yes I did just pay to become “verified” on X as I look for ways to make sure the audience on each of the social media platforms Destination Brevard utilizes is able to see what we’re sharing. Take that #zuckerberg.
I would definitely suggest following us there as well as on Instagram and YouTube moving forward and of course you should sign up to receive our email newsletters (one of those just went out announcing the new Destination Brevard Dailly Update pages).
After all, I am hearing more and more from people that they’re not getting on Facebook as much as they used to because of all of the random ads and I don’t want any member of the Destination Brevard audience missing out on any of the content that is shared each day. I also want those locally owned businesses that choose to be a part of the Destination Brevard Online Community of Locally Owned Businesses to know they are being seen across ALL of our social media platforms.
Forget about that four day old pumpkin pie and stop by Surfin Turtle Icecream Shop on A1A in Satellite Beach for something sweet this afternoon!
Going live later this afternoon/ evening for the next Episode of Destination Brevard “In Your Face” here on Facebook and then there’s a pretty good chance that those live videos will be on YouTube before the end of the year and then they’ll be shared across all of our social media platforms as well as on our website.
Get off the couch and out of the house and over to Urban Tea and Creamery IHB on A1A in Indian Harbour Beach and let’s see how creative YOU can get with their boba milk and fruit teas!
Stop by Siggy’s – An American Bar on Malabar Road in Palm Bay to try their pastrami reuben and to watch your favorite teams today!
That’s awesome Black Cat Coffee and welcome to Brevard County Space Coast Games!
The chill is coming tomorrow.
Moon Hut on A1A in Cape Canaveral is now open for breakfast, lunch AND dinner!
That’s not all. You can get breakfast or lunch for dinner if you want!
This would make an awesome gift for anyone on your list that enjoys the ocean and it seems that a trip to The Surfinista is in order. Thanks for the share Scooter Newell. Robert Slater
I’ve never actually considered trying figgy pudding. It’s just something that you hear about this time of the year in a certain Christmas carol.

And then Costco had to go and throw this at me while I was there this afternoon.

It’s figgy pudding on Christmas Eve for the win!
The Christmas Doughnut Bros seem to be intrigued by the last pumpkin pie bread pudding at Cafe Mi Casa. Don’t worry boys, you’ll see it again on Christmas Eve.
Check out these awesome poinsettia cakes that Sugar Petals by Yi is making for Christmas!
Check out this latest project by Earth Doctor Landscaping & Lawn Care! Click over to their page for more info and examples.

If it’s been a few years since you’ve had your dryer vent looked at, it’s time to get Nate’s Dryer Vent Cleaning out for a visit.
