Another afternoon in the mid to upper 70’s is in store for Florida’s #spacecoast and the chance for a stray shower to blow onshore.

There’s a chance for some thunderstorms overnight tonight as well and yes the rip current threat remains elevated due to those onshore winds.

Yep, Blue Origin completed the “ho fire” test with its #NewGlenn rocket at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station last night and that’s the last big test before they attempt to launch the first version of this new rocket. There are some various dates and times floating around out there, but until it’s official, we’re not posting that info.

What you can be sure of is that when it does go up, spectators (especially those along the beaches of Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach) will be in for one heck of a treat as New Glenn is one of the largest rockets to ever lift off from anywhere on the planet. Yes #SpaceX‘s #starship and NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration‘s #SLS are larger, but New Glenn isn’t far behind. Click on the image below for more info.

Watched a couple of big boats leave Port Canaveral this evening and it made me glad that The Boss and I have a pair of cruises coming up in 2025.

A few clips from this afternoon’s airboat ride with Captain Dennis at Lone Cabbage Fish Camp in Cocoa.

Yep, it’s actually launch night to get specific and #SpaceX is looking to get the Astranis: From One to Many mission off the ground when the 2.5 hour long window opens tonight at midnight.

The first stage of this #Falcon9 has already launched and landed six times and it’ll land on a barge in the Atlantic before making its way back to Port Canaveral to be used again.
