The 2023 Sun n Fun Aerospace Expo at Lakeland Linder International Airport was another spectualar week long event that drew thousands of spectators and hundreds of pilots from across the county.
There are so many different aspects of this event and we will be focusing on the air show this time.
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels Demo Team headlined the event this year and they always put on a great show.
As exciting as it is to see the team in the air, there were quite a few other performers including the F-35A Demo Team, the F-35B Demo Team, a fly by of the F-22 Demo Team who also took part in the USAF “heritage flight” as they made their way to I believe Key West (the second F-22 could be seen buzzing around in the distance which made the crowd go crazy whenever they caught a glimpse of it).
The event is much more than just the daily air show performances. The Expo itself features dozens of aerospace vendors and this is one of those events that everyone should attend at some point.
We can’t wait to see what they have in store in 2024!
