The SpaceX Falcon 9 NG-20 Launch took place at Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) at 12:07 p.m. on 1/30/24. This mission launched the Cygnus spacecraft into orbit to deliver almost 4,000 pounds of cargo to the International Space Station (ISS). After getting the Cygnus spacecraft to orbit, the first stage of the Falcon 9 (which had already launched and landed 10 times during previous missions) returned to SpaceX’s Landing Zone #1 at CCSFS approximately eight minutes after liftoff where it will be processed and used again.
We set up three remote cameras to capture still images and a pair of GoPro cameras to get video clips around the pad at SLC-40 and then shot the launch from about three miles away.
