Northwest Florida, otherwise known as The Panhandle, consists of the following counties; Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun, Gulf, Liberty, Gadsden, Franklin, Wakulla, Leon and Jefferson.
The area stretches from the southern tip of Alabama on the west end to the Big Bend on the east. It’s bordered by Alabama and Georgia to the north and The Gulf to the south.
The home to some of the most beautiful stretches of beaches in the country and some amazing natural areas inland. It’s also the home of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and Florida State University.
